Don't waste your time on this drivel. This is seriously one of the most poorly written books I have ever encountered. It might have succeeded as a children's picture book--because the emotional and intellectual scopes of this text are that of a seven-year old. I wondered if the author perhaps is on the spectrum and incapable of any emotional or intellectual death. The author shows no understanding of women, of complex thought (or plot), of druids, or of human behavior. And don't get me started on the writing flaws: use of contractions in an historical piece. One dimensional characters. Inexplicable and unearned forward motion. The list goes on. The only reason I read this whole book is that I was aghast that such a thing could be published--in a series no less--and I was waiting to find one redeeming quality. I did not. This author has no concept of a woman's story--or a nun's.
