Description
Reaper minis are ideal for playing RPGs with friends and family. The perfect size for Wizard of the Coast DnD (Dungeons and Dragons), Paizo Pathfinder, Steve Jackson Games GURPS, Fantasy Productions Shadowrun, and many many more. If gaming is not your thing, then be sure to count on new and existing ideas, or challenges, for Miniature Painting from the robust Reaper catalog of minis. Most Reaper Miniatures are made at the Heroic 25 mm scale. Highly detailed miniatures created physically by hand, or digital 3D, sculpts are used to create molds for miniature production. Spin molds, plastic bases, and metal miniatures (Lead-Free as of January 2018) are made in the USA. Plastic miniatures are made in China shipped to Texas where they are packaged and shipped worldwide. Some miniatures require assembly. Miniatures DO NOT arrive painted. Some products may have substitutions of miniatures based on inventory from the manufacturer.

I enjoyed painting this! The arms and head can be detached for easier painting, storage and whatever game scenario you can think of. The right arm is a little loose so I did have to super glue it.As the name says, this guy is big. He comes in 4 pieces that fit together perfectly with no boiling or bending needed. He has an integral base, but given his center of gravity, it's worth getting a larger base (I used a 2 inch reaper base). Great fun to paint, lots of little details, like dinosaur bones, and crystalline protrusions. One of my new favorite minis.Only flaw is the description. The figure is large, but not in the Large category. For scale, the yellow disc in the picture is 2". He really should be classified as a Huge creature, and fits comfortably on a 3" base. The figure itself looks great after assembly, and is a good value. It came in ahead of schedule with no problems. All it requires is some model glue or superglue. The seams look natural and don't need putty. The model is 2" tall, taller than 28 and 30 mm human figures. It has real weight and feels good to hold and is easy to paint.About half again as tall as my hero minis. This fella makes for a good hulking brute on the tabletop. You may want a small bitt of filler to close up the gap between his arms and body.My first outing on painting miniatures and it was enjoyable waiting on a paint color to arrive to finish. I may post pictures of mine as well. Loved the detail and price. I definitely recommend the use of a primer. The paint I used seem to adhere to this miniature better then the one I didn't prime :(Excellent mini for someone who's a novice or expert to paint. Simple dry brushing and some touch up, or full on conversion. The Reaper Bones figures are my second on my list for affordable mini's with excellent detail. This was a great addition to my collection of miniatures. Easy to paint and sturdy.
