Our 50lb. dog will gnaw for hours on the extra large bone, but then ignore it for days at a time. He LOVES the medium sized ones and "doggedly" gnaws on it 'til he's devoured it. We take it away sometimes 'cause he looks like hls jaws are tired and he wants to quit, but just can't. We'd buy them more often if the price were a bit lower.I have a pitbull/lab mix that seems to destroy bones with ease. I can give him these 4 or 5 days in a row for an hour at a time. He does tend to pull off big strips of rawhide that I try to catch before he swallows them. Well maybe a gigantic sized bone!These are good, made in the USA!! There are still things like bleach to make them white, but occasional treat for my heavy chewing Pit Bull.Hard core chewing!! My black lab puppy didnt quite know what do at first. He suddenly figured it out. It ans given him a run for his money. He now has it eaten about half way iver several weeks.Dogs finally took to it and it is holding up well; no shards that I can see.Not a solid piece. Ends come off quickly
